150 years ago, Pavel Michailovitch Kousmichoff, aged 14, left home to go to S. Petersburg. He started working for a tea merchant and quickly became an expert. He married and had 6 children. He created for them "bouquet of flowers" tea, which soon became the tea of the czars. Even though, right now, the most famous tea is "Anastasia", created in memory of Grand Duchess Anastasia (daughter of Tsar Nicholas), who has been said could survived the slaughter that engulfed her family.
